Title: power cord reel weak

hi everyone
my power cord reel on my 2008 patriot thunder is weak, when you extent out , the reset switch next to the switch pops . It will reset, but after a few feet will pop again 
any thoughts

It might be your reset breaker has gotten weak and is popping.  You can jumper around it to see if it works correctly.

If you click on the BAC homepage link at this page’s upper right, log in there, then choose Coach Assist under the “Technical” tab, you will find a Glendinning reel document by scrolling down to “Misc”.  It is generally referencing products used on boats, but similar ones of that brand are common on Beavers.  It may provide some useful guidance, and you can also try calling the company, 1(843)399-6146 .

Ours is weak as well but doesn’t blow the breaker yet.  When unspooling I carry the weight to minimize the strain on the motor,  same for returning it except I keep a clean cloth there for wiping it down as it is stored.
Hope this helps until repairs can be made.
