Title: Clearance Lights LED
Post by: Jim Nichols on September 23, 2011, 03:32:45 AM
Traveling from Branson Rally to New Mexico, we came across a window display of LED lights, in a NAPA auto and truck parts.  Bought what they had in stock: 4 red and 2 amber. They are exactly the same size as ours (2" x 4") and  only $9.99 ea.  After purchase, I then looked on the Internet, and found this ( http://www.finditparts.com/t/389/manufacturer/truck-lite/products/486391/truck-lite-2660 ).  Made by SIGNAL-STAT #2660, called a double bulls eye lens, and has 3" center to center mounting holes.  Now to get more from NAPA stores, and not have to pay freight.  Hope this helps those that want to change to LEDs.  Also when you replace yours, make sure to seal with a clear polyurethane, and use new stainless screws.

The websight doesn't describe the lens material.  Do you know if the ones you got at NAPA are just Bargman-like plastic or polycarbonate, that resists UV light?

Class8 Truck Parts shows them as polycarbonate lens and body. If you google Truck-Lite 2660 you get Ryder, Class8 and some others under $10 ea, Yellow, red, and clear
