Found the blown fuse to the generator, now where to find the fuse. Checked locally with automotive and electric sources with no luck. Is this going to be an online only again?
-
Possibly! We blew one in New Brunswick and had to go to Montreal with the slide out 2" before we found a place to buy one. Actually it was an RV dealer that somebody on RV.net suggested to me. Then one of the DS's fount a factory in Toronto where they make them and went and bought me one, since we were meeting en route. The dealer was $40, the factory was $20.
Mine are 250 amp.

Oh my!
Well I found a seller on ebay and ordered 1, if this is actually the right fuse I will order some back ups.
Heads up for everyone else that has this type of fuse for your systems.

Marine store, West Marine etc. or radio install store where they put the boom-box stereos in. If you are buying online or perhaps just thinking about an extra try Marlin P Jones & Assoc. MPJA.com http://www.mpja.com/prodinfo.asp?number=15000+FU This might be a better price than even a stereo store. ($3.49)

Try NAPA, or any similar. I had no trouble getting a 250 ANL from B&J Parts in Port Coquitlam, BC. I had to wait 1 day for them to get it in from the local distribution wharehouse.

Every fuse that is above our battery tray is the 125 size, THAT is what is hard to find.
