Title: 110 Power-97 Beaver Patriot Ticonderoga
Post by: Robert Norris on June 27, 2024, 12:53:38 AM
Good evening Beaver Community. It's been a minute since I had reached out last. Everyone has been so helpful to my wife and I. We are new to our Beaver coach. We are getting everything ready to take a real trip (6000 miles in total). I have had all the power and coach maintenance done and I purchased all new tires.

So thinking we were ready, we are loading all of the essentials in front of our house. It is 98 degrees with about a 100% humidity. So we are running the generator and 1 air unit. This also supplied 110 power. But we discovered we have 110 power in the rear bedroom and no 110 at any of the other outlets from the bathroom, forward. I have reset all breakers (none were tripped).

I have tested and reset all GFI.
Does anyone no what the problem is?

Robert,
Sure sounds like a GFI has tripped. There may be a GFI in one of the basement bays. Be sure to check it.

I would suggest you don't "no"(sic) where all the GFIs are located.  We have a larger coach and have several GFIs located upstairs and a couple more located in the basement.  Our streetside living room and loo room have a GFI in the loo room while the curbside living room has at least one GFI for the kitchen receptacles and a separate receptacle/GFI for the microwave/convection oven.  In our coach, we have had the loo room GFI trip out and lost 120v power to those receptacles in the loo room plus those in the streetside living room.

Thank you both for your responses. I did check the upstairs GFI, but neglected any that may be located in the downstairs bays. I will check those and respond back. Thanks again for your help.

Robert
Have you checked the breakers on the inverter many of the circuits run through the inverter .
When running on shore power or gen set the power feeds through the bedroom breaker panel 30 amp inverter breaker which feeds the inverter
When the inverter is turned off ( not inverting ) the power is feed directly through a relay in the inverter to a set of small push button type breakers on the inverter and then on to several outlets , TV s etc.
For a quick check turn on the inverter and see if any of the outlets come to life

Check the small breakers on the inverter...

Hope this helps
Eric

I once again want to thank everyone that offered possible solutions. I turned out to be that the (breaker?) on the inverter tripped. I reset it and all systems are go again. Unfortunately, I don't know what tripped it or is the inverter getting weak. But while we are traveling, at least I know what to look for if the symptoms happen again.

Having access to the forum and the vast wealth of all of your knowledge, is well worth the price of my BAC membership.
Thank you again.
