It appears that the relay controlling the slide-out hydraulic pump motor is bad on my 2006 Monterey. None of my four slides work - I only hear a faint clicking noise when pushing any of the switches.
I measure 12 Volts on the input 5/16" terminal on the relay, and when the slide switch is pressed I see about 12 volts appear on the control terminal on the relay, but nothing on the 5/16" output terminal. If I short the two 5/16 terminals together on the relay the hydraulic pump will run, so the problem does not appear to be the pump.
I am looking for a replacement relay, but I don't see any numbers on the old relay. Can someone tell me what the correct part number is? Will this work:
- Trombetta 684-1211-212 or Trombetta 684-1211-212-06
(not sure what the difference is)
Thanks in advance for any help.

Don’t know if mine is different than yours, but I got mine at a trailer supply parts house. It was the same as a dump trailer solenoid. It had a mounting bracket with slots so a band clamp could go through it and then around the pump motor. By the sound of your troubleshooting, I think that is your problem. Hope this helps, good luck.

I've been looking for you for matches to my 2006 Monterey Hella K5 electrical bay relay, whose numbers I could barely make out, and which appears to be out of production. I now see that apparently you meant a solenoid, not a relay. They are commonly interchanged terms, but perhaps shouldn't be. My bad, twice, for not originally checking the part numbers you were wondering about, and assuming you couldn't read the stamped info on your relays like I can.

Larry,
Either of those should work. I think the part# difference is the type of mounting tab.
