Title: Water filters not working
Post by: Dennis Hackert on January 26, 2025, 10:42:51 PM
Why do these new water filters have tiny inlet hole , I plan on drilling it out too 3/8 , any body else have experience with this problem?
I posted this a little prematurely , as I was figuring out how to post and put very minimum info.
I have a WATTS 2 stage system
My new filters are watts Model WP560088 some reason got these when I ordered the ones my manual said-WP500342 . Before installing I observed this tiny 1/8" hole in the inlet end, WTH I said that aint gona work, put them in anyway asking myself why am i doing this?
Anybody else fall into this ditch? Are you all agreed with drilling out 1/8 hole too 3/8 should get us square?
Ok.... that is just one of many minor issues I am fixing
Thank you for any input of someones time here

I had the same problem with small restriction holes in new filters.  I simply drilled them out to 1/2 inch and used them.

Welcome aboard
We welcome any and all questions.
These coaches are complex and the best part about this forum is there  is always someone who has the answer your looking for.
All I ask is that you start new post for each question topic and have the post title match the issue this way if someone does a search
Here on the forum the search will turn up better results.
