Title: Smart wheel SM209 master control board failure
Post by: Harvey Ziegler on May 06, 2025, 02:48:27 AM
My smart wheel controls have failed. No wipers, horn, or cruise control.
By following the troubleshooting suggested by VIP instructions the master
Control board has failed. No voltage at the smart wheel controls.
Have not been able to source a replacement board.
May need to install new switches on the dash and wire them into service.
Motorhome is not legal to be on the road without wipers and horn.

These are getting hard to find, try these guys, have not used them, so no info about them. Good luck! https://www.radwell.com/Buy/VEHICLE%20IMPROVEMENT%20PRODUCTS/VEHICLE%20IMPROVEMENT%20PRODUCTS/SM210?srsltid=AfmBOorhXfTcgBxRpRih_WDELq514oj4MHXzo5TDEpHXMiCVz2G2a5Cz

Harvey

There are several threats on other forums that have addressed this issue.
I know that this video by AZ expert deals with the newer system with the Comgsberg multiplex system.
But it addresses an issue where the control module has lost its voltage output like yours has.
It's worth a look any way.

Hope this helps
