Title: Air Bags
Post by: Steve Hutchins on May 26, 2025, 02:26:31 AM
Hello all,

We have a 2002 Patriot 40' with a Roadmaster (?) chassis, at least that is what I understand.  The VIN # starts with 1RFC........telling me that?  We have a trip coming up shortly and even though the air bags on the coach seem to be fine I'm looking into buying a couple to take with us as a form of insurance.

I've done numerous searches and it looks like the air bags for our coach are:.

Looking at the pictures I have don't look the same so I'm hoping someone has already gone this route and confirm these are the correct bags.

Thanks,  S & S

That is the correct bag. If you access the Private Members Only board on the Forum you will find an "Air Bag Reference" document that lists the bags for most Beaver models.

Thank you Steve for the confirmation.  I did look at the "Air Bag Reference" document but was not sure that the "1995 - 2002: Magnum B Chassis: 1R11-121 (replaces1R11-039)"  was the same chassis as mine.

Thanks again,

Steve

The whole Roadmaster chassis with Monaco kinda messed up what we (you and I) have for chassis. I'm not sure if your data plate says Roadmaster or not, but if it does, it will also say Make: Magnum which is the left over SMC magnum chassis that Monaco used up in 2003 and later. Totally different chassis, and after the fact I'm glad it's not the Roadmaster. There is a Chassis write up in Coasch Assist part one and part two that is helpful if you want to go deeper.
