Can anyone tell me where the water pump for the fresh water systems is located? Just today it seems to run continuously, and doesn't pump with very much pressure. If I continue to open the faucet, eventually it sort of lets loose and delivers good pressure. If I turn the faucet off and go back in a few minutes, it goes through the same routine with little pressure. I can't find any leaks anywhere, but can't find the pump. Any ideas?

The pump on my '03 Marquis is located in the pass through bay on the passenger side. Look for it in a compartment on the rear wall. You will need to remove 4 screws to open the compartment.
If you need to replace the pump, be careful with the size. Most of the Sureflow pumps are two large, and will not fit under the lid.

On my 2000 Marquis, the water pressure pump is in the rear passenger side basement storage area. It is on the rear wall outboard of the Prosine inverter behind a square panel covered with outdoor carpet. The panel can be pulled off .There are two catches on the panel that hold it in place. There is a water filter to catch sediment in the water inlet line to the pump. The pump has a solenoid activated pressure switch.
My pump runs fine, but will not shut off when the taps are closed. This causes the pump to overpressurise the system and the pump to leak. I have changed both solenoids . I suspect after 12 years of use the pump/pressure switch is the culprit.
Hope this helps.

When I replaced my pump, I bumped out the cover by gluing a 1x1 around the edge of the cover. That gave me the 3/4 inch space needed to accommodate the new larger pump. This will not solve your problem unless you buy a larger pump.

Is your WATER FILL valve open? If so, close it. Henry
