Title: Kitchen faucet replacement
Post by: Ted Couch on January 15, 2012, 05:25:53 AM
I need to replace my kitchen faucet in our 1989 Marquis; can I use a regular house facet or do I need to use one classified as an RV faucet?

Thanks.

Ted

I went to Lowes and picked up a nice household faucet, but had to drill an additional hole for the sprayer I wanted.  The Corian?? top drilled very easily.  This was over a year ago and very happy with it.

 Ted,
Your coach uses a residential kitchen facet.

Ours came with a standard Moen Faucet with the pull out sprayer.

Ours also came with the Moen which has a lifetime warranty. I call them and they sent me a new one at no charge.

We called the Moen factory and received a replacement cartridge for the faucet at no charge. Wonderful customer service. Wife was a bit sad; she was ready for a new modern faucet. One win for the old guy! :)

I just installed a new Moen pullout  today ($200) from Home Depot. I did need to purchase (2) 3/8" to 1/2" adaptors for the water supply lines.
