Title: Aladdin Access Code
Post by: Brad Burgess on March 21, 2012, 12:28:29 AM
Hello All

I am looking for the Super Secret Double Dog Dare access code for the Aladdin system on my '06 Monterey.  If you know the code and are willing to share it with me, I promise, upon penalty of being beaten severely about the head and shoulders, not to reveal it to another living soul.

Kindest Regards,
Brad Burgess
06 Monterey

There's an access code?  Are you trying to work in System Options?

Hi Joel

Yes, I need to recalibrate the black tank.

Hi Joel

I actually just installed the SeeLevel system with two 709 units - one in the galley and one in the wet bay - they are great.  I still would like to use the Aladdin system as a backup and the grey and fresh tanks on the Aladdin are working properly.  The black tanks works fine up to about 70% and then stops reading any higher.  I calibrated the tanks on my 03 Monterey and it is really quite easy.  However, on my 06 Monterey there is a code request on the Aladdin screen when I try to access the system setup screen under the system options screen.

Yeah, the pdf. alluded to in the iRV2.com thread I referenced above talks about there being a technician-only code as of 2004, so perhaps someone at Monaco or BCS would whisper it into your ear, seeing as how Alladin isn't made anymore.  Threads indicate there is also an adapter that can send your new sensors' data into the Alladin, but if you want it for a backup, you just need to calibrate it and forget the adapter route.

Hi Joel

I called both Monaco and Bend and they both said the code was 1218 - didn't work.  I interfaced the SeeLevel system to the Aladdin on my 03 and the results were less than stellar.  Apparently there is a procedure to rectify the discrepancies between what the Seelevel gauges read and what the Aladdin reads from the same input.  Cary at Garnett Tech tried to describe it to me but - - -.  Dave Rudisill has experience with this interface and he has created a conversion chart for his coach.

Thanks again for your help.

Brad, the Aladdin manual that came with our coach confirms the 1218 access code you were given by Monaco. I haven't been brave enough to try it yet myself for fear of screwing something up worse than it is already.  ;)

Thanks for your response - I'll try the code again.

Hello All

OK - pilot error - the code "1218" does work to access my Aladdin set up options.  Thanks again to everyone for their responses.
