I'll ask this hoping readers will put it under "there aren't any stupid questions" .....
I need to do some work around the batteries. Obviously I will disconnect any shore power and ensure the genset doesn't come on. Less obvious, but I assume still critical is to disconnect or eliminate the power from the solar panel?
I know there is a circuit breaker for doing this or is it just as easy to cover the panel with something?
Thanks,
Jeff

What kind of work? If you are removing batteries or taking off cables, make sure you take the negative off first and positive on first.

Gil,
I'm cleaning up around the trays and I remember the line I was taught once "negative first, Negative last" , I just don't want to get zapped by a live feed from the solar panel. Haven't done this work on this coach yet.

There may be a fuse on one of the connectors in the bay, but it is probably faster to put a blanket over the solar panel to shut it down.
