Fuel gauge and water temp and transmission temp gauges not working. We have 12v to the gauges. Also when we turn the headlights on, the speedometer jumps and then goes back to normal when we turn them off. The aladin shows the temps and fuel, but the trans and water gauges just stay at zero. The fuel gauge stays on full. We just had the headlight fix done at bend, and also had a new monitor installed so we could keep an eye on the toad. Also had a broken wire on the front heh compressor replaced. Any ideas? We are back in MN so can't go back to Bend.

It might be helpful if you put your coach info....year, model, and etc in the sig line. Easier to get qualified responses that-a-way.

It's a 2003 Marquis sapphire. We think we found the fuel gauge problem a loose wire by the generator. Sorry for all the spelling errors. The old eyes have trouble on this iPhone. The pictures in the salicin manual don't say where the sensor is.

John,
The highest probability of one the single thing that can render multiple dash gauges inoperative at the same time is the ground wire to the dash. Check the grounding circuitry to your dash.

Wouldn't all the gauges on the dash not work? My husband checked the ground and couldn't find a problem. Is there a relay someplace that only is for the water temp and the transmission temp on the C12?

I do not know of a relay that only feeds those two gauges, also if it was a relay malfunction you would not have 12V to the gauges.
One thing to think about in diagnosing the problem, is that the dash gauges and the Aladdin use different sensors to read data on most coaches. So just because the Aladdin is operating correctly, it does not mean that there is not a wiring or sensor issue at the source.

Three guages would involve three senders so I am in the groud wire camp along with Gerald. Try a known good ground point extra wire run for testing purposes, maybe from a working guage, and see if that helps.
