Title: Sealing vents on roof
Post by: Steven Harper on September 27, 2009, 06:23:23 PM
I was up on roof and noticed some the caulking is coming loose around my vents where they were sealed.  What do I use to seal these again?

Thx,
Karen

To reseal any roof seam you should use a good flow grade sealant like Dyco C-10. All RV supply stores carry Dyco C-10 or an equivalent flow grade sealant. If you use another brand (other than Dyco C-10) make sure that it is compatible with a fiberglass roof, and is a flow grade sealant.

Before you apply the new sealant be sure to remove (clean off) any loose or flaking sealant to ensure a proper seal.
