Title: Ice Maker water line filter
Post by: Richard And Babs Ames on February 25, 2013, 10:17:07 PM
The old one is an Aqua City with the part number wore off. It is PVC with caps on it. Can e mail a picture.
Any ideas?

Richard,

Are you looking for a replacement filter?

That may be an outdated filter.  Check here for an appropriate substitute, with the right capacity and end fitting size:

Here is a photo of some filters similarly built to yours:

We are looking for a replacement filter. This one is at least 13 years old.

I changed the ends on ours and use a GE home refridgerator ice maker filter. They sell them at Home Depot for $11.95.

Richard: The original was a "Aqua City AIM 1" from Campbell, CA  but they cost way to much.  It is 1 gpm.

These filters  are essentially the same==>

1. Pentek GS-6 Extra .25  from the RV water filter store in Eugene, Or   (602) 625-1875

2. Aquafresh WF270 from filtersfast.com

3. Omnnipure K23AC from espwaterproducts.com

I  keep the quick disconnect plumbing ends and just move them to the replacement filter. Really easy to change on our model coach.
