Title: separate back up camera montior

I am trying to install a separate 7" tv Monitor for the back up camera.  That way I wont have to toggle back and forth.  I tried to run the cable direct from the camera to the tv, but I get a "no Signal" message. I found the correct cable, as I lose the picture form my Aladdin/radio screen.

How has anybody done this?  I am stumped right now.

Hi lee, I did the same thing, on my 2000 Marquis, I used a 7" Voyager monitor, and changed out the camera as well to one  of their color tilting units, what type of communication cable do you have coming from the camera? You should contact the people at RV cams, they can help you out with any adapters you may need, and are quite friendly when it comes to giving advise.

alot of cameras need to have power from the coach 12volt tapped into the reverse lights.

the decks usually operate the switch that turns power onto the cable going to camera.
