I have a strange item on the roof right above the driver seat.

It's black and about 2" square and about 3/8' thick with a cable that goes through the roof.  Any thoughts about what this may be??  I was thinking an old GPS antenna or perhaps something to do with the Silverleaf weather option.

 Thanks
 Dick

I have such a device over the co-pilot's seat.  The three leads going from my 3-LNB DISH HD roof-mounted satellite reflector go into it.

				Dick,
It sounds like you are describing the factory installed Alpine GPS antenna that was used on that model coach.

 David,
it sounds like you are describing the cover that is used to weatherproof the hole that is cut into the roof to run the coax cables for your satellite antenna.

IT COULD ALSO BE A XM ATENNA

Yes, Gerald, a few inches on each side, square, 3/8 inch high or so, fastened down firmly to the roof, with my three DISH leads going into it... obviously it's protecting where the leads enter the coach's roof.  The leads enter the roof right over my Trace inverter-generator controller.  There are lots of wires up there behind the controller.  I hope to never have to get into that area.
