We have a 2001 Beaver Contessa and the spring in the toilet door lock has broken. Does anyone know where we might get a replacement latch or what kind of latch we might be able to substitute. We have tried a couple of suppliers but no luck so far

We changed ours out with a regular door latch from Lowes. We were able to find the brushed nickel to match the others.

If it looks like mine, I couldn't find a replacement. I did a McGuyver fix with an aftermarket spring that works so-so!

I had the same exact latch on my 99 Thunder, could not find replacement, and had a replacement spring made by lock company in Mesa, AZ. Worked great!!
Why throw out the nice lock when a smple new spring will fix it?????

I have been touch with one of our members regarding who did my new spring when I had this problem in 2005 on my 99PT coach with the same lock.
Since I have dug deeper into my records I found that it was HARMON LOCK in Mesa AZ. They are still in business and the following
is the website.....http://www.harmonssafelockandkey.com. They might even be open to fixing your lock if you send it in. Don't know for sure, but would be worth a call if interested.

Larger Ace hardware stores have a selection of generic springs. Other hardware stores too. Might find a match.

A good chance that Nicholson's Hardware in Rockford IL has your spring. They are ancient...since the early 1900s....and have lots and lots of hard to find stuff. You can call them at 815-963-4821.

We just recently bought our 2000 Patriot, and the whole latch is missing. Any suggestions?
