Title: Headlight Adjustment
Post by: Dennis Crawford on April 20, 2013, 07:03:52 PM
Hi All,

I just replaced the right side headlight assembly in my 2005 Monterey.  I bought the assembly from lighting4u on Ebay and it was the same as the original.  However, when Beaver installed it there was a lot of "plastic" that had to be cut away.  Some very close cuts.

My question is about adjustment.  I don't think the headlights can be adjusted on this coach.  The assembly is "hard mounted" using an auxillary rigged up mounting system.  The adjustment studs are not mounted to anything.  I assume adjustment is made by this unit being able to move in the mounting procedure.

Anyone had any luck?  If I am right, don't let anyone ever charge you for headlight adjustment on a 2005 Monterey since they can not be adjusted.

Dennis,
Viewing at the assy from the front, it looks like the adjustment for the actual headlight bulb would be internal to the assembly rather than adjusting the complete assy.
