Title: Aladdin reading on fresh water tank
Post by: Stan Simpson on April 26, 2013, 04:36:54 PM
We arrived yesterday at Shabbona Lake State Park, about 50 miles from home, for our shakedown trip. When filling the fresh water tank, I noticed the tank gauge in the water bay showed the tank as full. I went inside and checked the Aladdin and the gray water said zero, the black water said zero. The fresh water tank registered 489 gallons, and 489% of capacity. Wowzer! I finished filling the fresh water tank until the overflow started to dump water on the ground.

I got out the trusty manual, and it appears there is a code I need to re-set the baseline on the Aladdin. The manual indicates the code should only be used by a technician. How would the technician know the code? Is it available somewhere? Can I do it myself? Is there a chance the sensor is bad?

Thoughts, experiences, and suggestions anyone?

Thank you,

Stan

Hi Stan

My Alladin code is either 1216 or 1218.

Mine does that regularly when topped off.  After some of it is used, it settles back to normal.  Never had to reset a with a code.  The waste tanks act the same way when too full.

Brad,

1218 did the trick, thanks!
