I priced a replacement Donaldson P537448 Air Cleaner for my Cat C-9 and it was $265.00 at NAPA, $235.00 at O'Reilley Auto Parts, and $318.00 at a local Monaco dealer.
I found this one here: http://www.filterspro.com/detail.cfm?part=1753396, priced @ $111.35 + $20.00 shipping, and no tax. This is a significant savings. Before I pull the trigger, I'm wondering if anyone has dealt with them. I'm thinking someone from BAC may have done business with them or at least heard of them. I couldn't find any online reviews and no information on them from the BBB for Southern Arizona.
I called them and they said they have two in stock and it would be 3 days from today to receive..
Any comments would be appreciated.

Can't answer your question about that company but just wanted to relate that I just bought and replaced my air filter, same filter. Mine is a Wix but think they are o.k too. I purchased in Farmington, NM at Carquest. Paid $81.59 which includes the tax price. This was the 3rd one I had purchased there and better price now than 5 years ago. I dealt with the owner, Allen this time and found out he is friends with my son. Don't know if he would ship but might be worth a phone call. Ask for Allen, Mention the name Hircock, (pronounced Hercock). Might be worth a few bucks. List price on it is $390.50 and 5 years ago best price I was finding in farmington was 200+ dollars. Glad I found CarQuest. Don

Stan,
I do business with FiltersPro and they are great if you just want Donaldson or Baldwin Filters. Sometimes I need a specific brand (Racor) and they cannot get that brand or it is much higher priced than other sources. However, I am interested in the pricing from CarQuest in Farmington, NM. The price quoted on that filter is very good.

Since Filter Pro is right in my backyard, I may wander over tomorrow. I've been wanting to replace my K@N with a real filter but don't know the part number. Reckon I can pull it out and take it over if needed. On the map it looks like they are close to the Allison shop and I need some Transyd...kill both birds with one barrel.

Thanks for the tip Stan. I went to their shop today and got an air filter for $48.00....seemed pretty reasonable. They have a very large warehouse and carry a lot of brands and different filters, hoses, and etc.

Great news, Dick. I called the CarQuests within 100 miles of me, which includes the Chicago metro area, and the best price I could find on that Donaldson filter that they had at Filter Products for $111.35, was $172.00. I went ahead and ordered it from them.
