2000 Marquis; I've got a bad coax (degraded signal) from the shore connection at the water control panel to the Winegard amp. Replaced with external coax and signal cleared up. I improved the signal somewhat by replacing the connector on the shore connection end. I suspect there are additional connectors at the auto roll up reel behind the water panel. Can anyone confirm that before I remove the panel?

I think the issue is the roll up unit, which on mine the coax was removed from, and then run directly to a double female f connector switch plate at the panel face. That may be the best bet. I do not know if you have a way to peek in there by removing something or by tilting the panel. They all seem to have differing levels of slack in the backside connections....mine is not very accommodating. My coax reel just sits behind the panel disconnected.

Our Beaver has a lot of "nooks" and "crannies" everywhere. After years of trying to get to and see into impossible locations I invested in a color inspection camera. Bought it last fall at Costco. It is wonderful. Will cost $150 to $200 for a really good one but that is less than two hours of labor at any RV repair shop. Well worth it for me
The nice thing about this is that it allows you to diagnose things before you tear into something so you can plan ahead for parts needed, etc.
