Title: Master Light Switch
Post by: Bill Beebe on July 29, 2013, 03:15:07 PM
We have a 07 Contessa.  When I tested the master light in the bedroom the reading lights stoped working. Can any one tell me what the fix is.  I've checked the fuse's and all my other 12v lights work.

Have you checked the bulbs?

The Multiplex system works differently than what most of us are used to, and I wish I could offer a diagnosis for your symptoms, Bill, but I can't.  I was waiting for someone that understands Multiplex
workings to proffer an idea.  All I can put out there is to ask if the fuses you checked were the 10 amp ones on the black Multplex boxes or other lighting circuit fuses upstream from the multiplex?

Even if you find a blown fuse, one has to ask what caused reading lamps to blow, just from switching on the bedroom overhead.  It is so strange, there has to be a more obvious reason.

Bill, I have a schematic for a 07 contess that Gil sent me, but I can't access it until I get home or at least on a good wifi. I will forward it to you as soon as I can.
