Title: Cat C13 525 Polution smog control
Post by: Paul Champagne on July 30, 2013, 04:57:44 AM
Has anyone bypassed the smog control on the C13 for better performance and gas milage as I hear the Cat motors with the smog controls choke the engine..Any feedback would be appreciated

Thanks

Paul,
I am very unclear as to what pollution controls you are asking about. Most of the pollution controls on a non-DPF (diesel particulate filter) equipped engine are incorporated into the computer program that runs the engine. If you have a DPF equipped coach, and you want to remove the DPF, it is very difficult at best to get around the computer program that is looking for the DPF sensors.
