I performed my first ever Aqua Hot annual maintenance today on my coach ('97). While changing the hard to get at Racor filter, I noticed the hose from the reservoir tank to the cap on top of the unit was wet. Checking I found the hose clamp to be somewhat loose, so I tightened it. It was still leaking. Now I am thinking the hose has a small leak in it so I try to remove the hose and the end by the hose clamp basically crumbled in my hand. Hard and brittle it literally fell apart at the end closest to the cap. Luckily I had enough hose to cut off the bad part and reattach. So when you are in the Aqua Hot compartment, give that little fellow a tug and see if it is still in good shape......thanks.

Better to change the entire clear hose out, as @ that age the heat that it absorbs causes it to deteriate easily.

George, good thinking but this hose is not clear but 1/4 fuel line hose.....very thick.....thanks.
