Title: Electric Dump Valves Multiple Switches
Post by: Richard And Babs Ames on January 13, 2010, 03:19:29 PM
Since you all are talking about water pump switches I was wondering  if dump valves could be set in a similar fashion. Difference is tha it is not just an on or off switch but  an open or close sequence. The switches are in the bathroom currently and would like to have the ability to open and close from the ourside bay when flushing and getting ready to store.

It is possible to wire dump valves with multiple switches although not practical bacause in dump valve controls you change the polarity at the valve control motor instead of turning the current (power) on and off like you do in a water pump circuit.

A fellow Beaver owner e-mailed me a source for a wiring harness to use 2 dump valve switches if you are using the Drain Master system.
