Title: Napa Valley & Sonoma RV Site Recommendations?
Post by: Brent Hohlweg on October 01, 2013, 01:00:25 AM
We're stopping into the Napa Valley & Sonoma area. We would love to possibly stay a month and explore the area. Need a recommendation on a nice family friendly premier RV Resort. Would love to hear any "must visits/see" from everyone :-)

We stayed at the Napa Valley Expo RV Park a few years ago.  It was small with only 28 spots but it was OK.  Surprisingly there is not much available in that area.

Thanks everyone! We found a very quiet park in Vacaville (no highway, railroad or airport sound...which is pretty much a miracle for an RV park!!). It's clean, lots of big rig spots and very central to visiting around the Napa Valley http://vineyardrvpark.com/

PS: Does anyone know if you can stay at Elk Lodges if not a member?

Cheers Brent

Brent,
You need to be a member of Elks to use their RV campgrounds. Membership is very reasonable, approx. $100 per year.
RV campgrounds range from $10.00 to $25.00 per night. Many do not have sewer at site but have a dump station on the premises.
Check out Elks web page, there is a link with a list of RV parks by state, and facilities available.
