Hello,
This is my first post and I'd like to ask a few questions. My 2008 Contessa has a white non-skid material on the roof. Is this from the factory or did the PO coat it? Does anyone else have this? If so, how are you cleaning it?
Thanks,
Chuck

Welcome to Forum participation, Chuck.
A band of skid resistant texture runs front to back on ours, and it cleans just about as easily, and right along with, the rest of the decking surface. It appears to have been part of Monaco's factory painting process, and is the same color as the rest of the roof.
If yours appears to be like the stuff bought off reels by the foot at hardware stores, it was likely added by a previous owner, and is more aggressive than factory texture.

Thanks Joel.
Mine appears to be a coating of some sort...not individual sheets. Based on what I've been able to find on the web, it appears to be from the factory but not 100% sure.

Chuck, sounds the same as our 07 Contessa, and is original from the factory. I use Softscrub or a similar slightly abrasive soap to clean the roof. Has worked fine since new, but is now beginning to chalk more so will soon be repainting. From many discussions on this Forum, will probably use the deck paint from West Marine or Lowe's.
