Title: Headlight Modification Relay
Post by: Larry Dedrick on February 06, 2014, 01:37:47 AM
To the Experts:
I have been trying to find the Beuler Relay BU-5084M-0000. There are just a couple places I have discovered that have them available, however, there is a minimum $25 dollar order, and the relays are only $2.20 each, so, doing the math, I don't really need that many.
Does anyone have a supply source or what is the equivalent relay by a different manufacturer. My knowledge does not go to that depth when it comes to relays. I would appreciate some help.

                                Thanks:                    Larry D.

I got mine last September from northwest autowire at 360-854-8636.  I did not get the exact numbered relays but I got Beuler 5 terminal 12volt 40/60 amp heavy duty relays.  Price was $4.50 each plus $7.85 S/H for a total of $16.85

Tyco bought out the rights to Bosch relays and are supposed to be making them to the Bosch specs. These 30A versions will work.

Most Auto stores will have 30A to 40A versions of the Bosch style relay. You can use the Beuler or Tyco PN and ask for a cross reference part if you do not want to mail order. Also car alarm and audio installers should have piles of these to sell.

Larry,

Auto Zone has them or equivalent. Any 30 or 40Amp relay will work if it is 12V and has terminals labeled 30, 85, 86, and 87.
