Title: Electrical Question
Post by: Randy Perry on March 31, 2014, 10:04:48 PM
Just before putting the coach away in the Beaver Barn, I tried to turn on the front TV and nuttin! I have (2) outlets in the TV bay, one towards the back and one on the righthand side. I lost power to the rear outlet but the one on the right is hot! With trouble time limited, I checked all circiut breakers, including gen set and inverter and all GFI outlets and still nuttin???? What am I missing??

I don't know your coach, but I'm going to guess that one is on an ignition relay and the other is not.  The idea is that if the TV is plugged in to the "correct" outlet, it will not have power when driving.  Guessing further, you may have a faulty relay or a GFI issue.

Both should be on the inverter circuit.

Randy,

Did you check the sub-panel breakers located in the basement?

Randy,
There is a GFI that is located on the rear wall of the basement that controls the TV outlet.
