Post by: Rick Vyncke on July 30, 2014, 03:27:51 AM
Can the light in the switch that activates the tag axle be replaced?   :-/

I would think you could replace the switch but I think you can remove the rocker by pulling on it I think I did replace a blub in my old rig. Perhaps some else will know or I would give the folks at BCS a call they will know.

Rick,
I am not positive about your switch, but the vast majority of lighted switches do not have a serviceable bulb. So when the light fails, you just replace the switch. It is rarely cost effective to repair a switch when you are paying a technician $120 an hour and the switch is either machine made or made offshore at a $1 labor rate.

Rick,
Not sure what switches you have. If they are the same as were used in the 2000 - 2001 coaches; rocker switches with green indicator lights on 1/2 the rocker, the lamp is replaceable from the rear of the switch.
