Title: Bedroom slide out

Just bought a 2001 Beaver Patriot Thunder...Princeton floor plan.  We can get the kitchen slide to work fine but the bedroom slide won't respond to the switch.  Checked the fuse, it's good, but no power to the wall switch.  We can bypass with a battery to the switch and the slideout works fine.   What's next to check?  Dana

There is a relay that cuts power to the slide circuit if the ignition is on. In our 01 Contessa it was in the closet. Id start there to be sure you have 12v in and out of it. If the circuit is the same as the Contessa, 12v is on the red wire and ground is on one of the 2 white wires at the switch. Will email you a diagram.

It wouldn't hurt to replace the fuse regardless of how it looks. I had the same issue a few years ago and replaced what looked like a perfectly good fuse ... problem solved. I hope your fix is as easy.

Dana,

Just to be sure if you bypass the switch with the battery are you applying the battery voltage to the input of the switch thereby testing the switch also.

Dana,

I had a similar problem, removed the wall switch and pulled the wiring out some from the wall and found spade lugs connecting the switch to the house wiring.  One of the spade lugs had worked loose, reconnected and tightened the connection and all works fine now.
