On a 1998 3126 cat engine how many engine thermostats are on that engine ?

Two on aa 3126B in my 98 Patriot, Cat 330.  I have personally replaced them twice.

Are they located together  ?

Glenn,

Yes, they are in the same housing. Make sure you get the correct gasket.  There are several single and double configurations.
