Title: Temperature Control Module
Post by: Les Brandt on October 23, 2014, 04:05:13 AM
My mechanic tells me I need a temperature control module for my 2001 Beaver Patriot coach. It's the controller that determines heat or A/C where the hoses connect in front.

Does anyone know a part number for this?

I would get a picture of it and post it, maybe somebody then could be of asistance.

Les,
Are you talking about the heater control valve? If so, a large auto parts store that deals with a lot of HD truck parts can probably match it up, or you could try calling BCS (Beaver Coach Sales) on Monday morning.

Les,
The heat valve that have the hoses attached on my 1998 Contessa was used on Chevrolet Trucks, part number GM16177412.  Mine would not work, I removed it and googled the numbers and found the attached photos, than took it apart looking for the problem, found nothing, lubricated it and worked the valve by hand, reassembled, and it worked just fine.
