How does one get to the indirect lighting on a 2002 Marquis.
I'm not having a problem but am curious since it seems you would have to drop the overhead panel.
Thanks.

Dick,
If you are referring to the rope lights, yes you have to remove the panels to access them. I replaced the lights in the bedroom and bath but haven't done the others yet. The panels are held up by screws behind the wooden plugs. The rope lights are stapled to the panel.
If you replace them I'd recommend using LEDs. My source was http://platinumlightinginc.com/html/led.html Warm white will match the current incandescent units in the coach. Use the 3/8" diameter rope as the 1/2" won't fit. They run on 12v, same as the incandescent so no transformer is needed.
Here's a previous post on topic; http://beaveramb.org/forum/index.php/topic,2941.0.html

Thanks Steve.
I'll take a looks at how to remove the panels and see if that's within my skill set. The thread you referenced was interesting and the fact that those lights might actually be useful for something other than decoration is also interesting. As they are the light output is pretty minimal for anything other than a night light or setting a romantic mood.
