Title: What is this?

I saw a bit of a leak from this part. It sits just inside and below the rad. What is it and what does it do?

I feel like such a no-brain with some of this stuff.

Looks like the transmission heat exchanger. Small lines should be going to the transmissions and the main lines going to the radiator.

Ed is right. That is the liquid to liquid transmission cooler.
