Title: Kidde Recall

Hi all,

I am at a small rally in Orlando and a vendor here told me about the recall on Kidde fire extinguishers and after I checked it out one of mine was on the recall list.  After a short wait on the phone Kidde is sending me a replacement at no charge.  I thought that perhaps some other BAC members might also have a recalled extinguisher so I will try to attach the flyer that I got from the vendor.

In case you have a hard time reading the flyer, the recall affects these models:

Description of Affected Item: XL Models: FX340SC, FX340H, FX340GW, XL5MR, FX210R, FX340SC-2, FX210W, XL2.5TCZ-4, E-340-3
Location of Manufacture: Mexico

It also states that manufacturing dates of the affected units were Jul. 2013 - Oct. 2014
