Title: Fried Backup Monitor

Just wanted to warn anyone who wants to replace the backup camera in their coach... Make sure you don't cross the negative and positive feeds on the camera. If you do, smoke may magically appear from the monitor and for some reason it will not work :o I used to think I was pretty handy, but I'm feeling pretty pathetic now. At least I'm keeping the coach parts suppliers happy!

In my defense... I had to make a new power cord to plug into my camera and it takes a 2mm plug and I wasn't sure what wire was positive or negative... I do now!

Greg,

Don't feel bad...I'm sure that most all of us that have the ventured into not well known territory have made a few smoke signals ourselves. Just don't do it twice on the same part, that is a sign :-)
