Title: Dash A/C repair
Post by: Rod Tomlinson on June 27, 2015, 01:06:22 AM
1996 36' Beaver Monterey. They just installed a new compressor and other parts for the dash a/c. However the installer is not getting current to the compressor. He has jump wired the system and the dash a/c is working. He is unable to find any fuse or circuit breaker other than the one in the electric bay area. Is there another fuse located somewhere?

Rod,
The circuit breaker in the LF electrical bay is the only one that I know of on your coach. Have you checked the A/C control panel to be sure that there is voltage going out on the A/C clutch circuit? Also be sure the A/C button is engaged on your control panel if it is equipped with one. If that all checks out OK, be sure that the low pressure cutout switch is making continuity.

Gerald,

Is the AC control panel a separate entity or are you referring to the fuse bay?

Rod,
I am referring to the A/C control in the dash where you turn the A/C on or off.
