Title: Red light blinking behind the dash

I have a 07 Contessa and suddenly noticed a red light blinking from behind the dash instrument panel. Haven't looked into it or the source that it might be coming from.
Any suggestions.

Dick, have you been watching any James Bond 007 movies lately ( red light blinking in remote
place ).  Problem could be possible a light in dash panel came loose and fell down. This also
be a warning light for something. Engine warning etc. little more info. on problem may be helpful.

Thanks Dave. We are settled in one place for a month, so will start looking a little closer for the red light source.
