Title: Roadmaster chassis
Post by: LaMonte Monnell on September 22, 2015, 09:23:04 PM
Can anyone here inform me of the roadmaster chassis that had so many issues? I cant remember which years or type!

The one I am inquiring about is a 10 air bag "S" series and 10 bilstein shocks.

Also which Cummins engine had issues? ISL 400? 2007?

Defect Summary: CERTAIN ISL CUMMINS CM850 DIESEL ENGINES PRODUCED FOR RECREATIONAL VEHICLE APPLICATIONS BETWEEN OCTOBER 17, 2005, AND APRIL 18, 2006, WITH ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER RANGE FROM 46543077 TO 46603939. THE CONNECTING ROD CONTAINS A MACHINING DEFECT IN THE WRIST PIN BUSHING OF THE ROD THAT COULD CAUSE SEIZURE OF THE PISTON PIN.

The only Roadmaster chassis problem I am aware of is the is the RR4R and R4R. I'm not aware of any issues with the S series but maybe someone else knows.
