We have a 2000 Beaver Marquis, and its leaking at the bedroom slide. What should we do. We just pulled up the carpets and took out the floors they were wet. We would love to hear some remedy as the rains are going to be here again on Friday.

Costco sells 12x16 tarps for about $14. Drape the whole slide out up onto the roof. Crack open a vent and place a heater so it will dry out. Are the seals the culpret? Sometimes a repair of the seal is possible. I recall reading a thread on this here on this forum.

A temporary solution like Keith suggested or parking in a building is only a solution if you do not want to ever move. However, if you plan on moving you coach at regular intervals, you need to locate and repair the leak. Sometimes, if the slide seals are where the leak is, you can retract the slide and stop the leak until you are able to replace the seals.
On my 2000 Marquis, I had to realign the slide to properly fit the opening and replace the slide seals when a leak developed at the bedroom slide several years ago. If you do not know how to check and/or repair a slide out leak you may be better served in finding a trusted professional to correct the problem before serious water damage occurs from the leak.

Thank you for replying, Gerald. Gordie is busy replacing the floors, he thinks the leak has been going on for a while. We pulled out the carpets and washed them and now he is replacing the partical board with plywood and replacing parts of the foam insulation that was under the particle board. We also found some leaks in the bathtub faucets, outside small door above the rear tire on the drivers side that was leaking too. He was trying to replace some broken tiles and discovered mold under them and we have to replace the bathroom floor as well. This is turning into a larger project then we thought it would be.
On another note we were trying to find a 50 Amp Surge protector can you recommend a type we need to get one of those as well. Thank You, Belinda

As far as the surge guard you also want one that detects voltage as low voltage can also cause some serious problems. You can go with the portable type or have one hard wired into your system.
Progressive Ind makes on that is highly recommended as a portable unit, it also comes with a locking tab so you can lock it to the park power stand. These things do have a habit of walking away in the middle of the night. Here is a link to it on Amazon a lot cheaper than Cramping World.
