Title: Air filter
Post by: Adam Hicklin on March 15, 2016, 07:25:53 PM
Attempting to change the air filter in the C-12. Removed the bottom cover and expected it to slide out. Nope.  I need to know if it just needs to be tugged on or is there some other thing to do to release it?

Thanks as always.

Adam
Ours is similar and just friction fit.  The first time I changed it it was pretty dirty and hard to remove.  You might dry rag the inside of tbe canister and tube.

As Keith said just a friction fit but it is intended to not allow dirt in at the interfaces between the rubber and metal or plastic interfaces so it will take a good tug, maybe some rotation to get it to release.

Thanks guys. That's what I thought but I'm never quite sure with this beast.  And mistakes tend to be expensive....I've come to realize.
