Thanks Dave

I checked Cat part number 161-1704 on EBAY and found some advertised as oil pressure transmitters are they the same part for both functions. They look the same.

Steve, the part numbers for boost pressure sensor are for C-12 engine S/N.
Myself would not buy anything but Cat parts from Cat Dealer. The cost for
boost pressure sensor this past year $ 137.00 to $140. At Cat Dealer price
will vary some. Buying aftermarket parts that sell for less money and installing
on a Cat engine is a only going to cause problems. I have ran into this many
times, Cat ET reading engine ECM read change in values. This boost pressure
sensor is part of a group of 5 volt sensors that go direct to ECM that require
Correct voltage at all times. Change in the 5 volt in one sensor will also change
Values in others sensors and change in engine operations also.
