Title: Allison 3000 transmission

Previous post reminds me of one of the latest little issues with my coach.... the transmission temp sensor has quit working... where is the sensor? What kind of thermocouple does it use?  1996 Monterey 36'

On my 4000 trans the sensor is in the cooler line outlet from the trans, don't know what sensor it takes as mine is not very accurate, I read my trans temp off of the Aladdin unit.
