Title: Tip for removing Dicor with Extreme Simple Green
Post by: Jim Edwards on April 22, 2016, 04:08:28 PM
Hi, I had to remove some Dicor to replace the wind sensor for the awing. I found that spraying it with Extreme Simple Green precision aircraft cleaner diluted 1:3 and keeping it soaked acted as a releasing agent so that the Dicor would not stick back on itself or any of the tools or blades used. You could cut the Dicor with a razor blade with relative ease. Although it did not dissolve the Dicor, it made it substantially easier to remove.

Just a thought.
