I have a 1990 Marquis with an 18' manual awning. On our trip this past spring to Louisiana my "rafter awning bar broke at the link casting on the awning tube. The rafter bar is the one that stretches the awning out when it is pulled out to keep the fabric taught. I've tried to use JB Weld on it and it held for a while then broke again. I took the bar to a welding shop, but they said the weld would not hold due to the piece being pot metal aluminum. Does anyone out there know where there is a motor home junk yard for used parts? I do have Northwest RV Supply working on it, so should know today if they can find the part. Any help would be appreciated. :o :-\

Visone rv.com is a salvage yard that may have something.
You can look at what they have on their webpages.

LaMonte...Thanks for you response on my awning part. I had called Dometic, thinking that they had purchased Zip Dee, but they had not, according to Northwest Rv supply. They found the part at Zip Dee, who I should have called in the first place, and will have it shipped to me. :-\
