I am going to store my '04 Monterey in South Carolina either Myrtle Beach, Columbia or Charleston from mid October to mid December on my way to the Keys for the winter. Am wondering if anyone from down that way has advice as to whether or not I should winterize the coach for that period?

Short answer is YES! Oct. probably no problem, freezes possible later Nov., freezes definitly in Dec.

I spend a lot of time in South Carolina in the fall, especially in the upstate. There are very few times that the temperature drops below 30 degrees F. I think in the area you are thinking about, one would be safe to add a little RV antifreeze to the traps for protection. It isn't nearly as cold along the coast as Franklin, NC.

I live in the upstate of SC (Greenville). I never winterize my Monterey til late Dec. We usually don't see temps cold enough to be of concern til Jan.

Looks like you should have, as I suggested!! Hope you did, 15 degrees in Greenville last night.

We stored our '04 Monterey in Newberry, SC inside storage until Dec 3. The temps got a little below freezing a few times but did not have any effect on our coach. We are in the Keys now, it has been chilly but no where near freezing.
