Our RAMCO mirrors were vibrating excessively. I found that I Could remove the mirror arms from the base plate and extract the existing lag screws and replace them with a nut and bolt by drilling out through the base plate to the interior of the firewall.There was only one wire which laid in the base plate which I assumed was a heat sensor. Subsequently everything worked and no more vibrations.
