Title: Fabric on sun visor

I don't like the white vinyl on my sun visors (2000 Marquis, scissor-type). Has anyone tried to replace the fabric rather than buy an all new unit? Don't dislike it enough to spend $500 so I was wondering about the fabric replacement idea.

Mike,
I have had the visor completely apart to replace a defective motor and fabric replacement is possible, but you will have to replace it with a very similar material and it will be difficult. In other words it is possible, but more trouble than it is worth for the vast majority of coach owners.

Mike, We have recently removed the motorized sun visors from our 2004 Marquis. They are white material. They worked just fine but we installed all new MCD shades. They are up for anyone who makes me a realistic offer of what I do not know.
